Sell Fries! Full Walkthrough: Anomalies, Key & Run Ending

Published · Updated

This walkthrough follows one complete Sell Fries! run: establish the fry shop, automate before nightfall, survive anomalies, find the hidden key, and finish through the basement hatch.

Quick answer

The run objective is explicit: “Find the key — it’s hidden in a potato.” Keep digging through the potato pile between customers until the key appears, then use it on the padlocked basement hatch and jump in. In some runs, an entity hands the key over at the window instead; if that happens, grab it and head to the hatch.

Phase 1: Learn the shop

Pick a team, wait through the countdown, and spawn at your fry shop. One sale moves through four stations:

  1. Carry a potato from the outside pile into the kitchen.
  2. Peel it completely.
  3. Fry it and collect the fries.
  4. Serve the fries at the window before patience expires.

Golden and crystal/blue-diamond potatoes sell for much more than normal potatoes. A large served batch can cover multiple customer orders at once, so avoid stopping halfway through a batch unless an anomaly forces you to.

Phase 2: Automate the kitchen

Buy the Conveyor first for $60. It is the base that lets other upgrades feed each other:

Upgrade Cost Purpose
Conveyor $60 Moves potatoes indoors.
Auto Peeler $500 Removes hand peeling.
Potato Robots $1,000 Auto-collects potatoes.
Auto Fryer $6,000 Cooks automatically.
Fries Shooter $12,000 Auto-serves and defends the window.

Carry capacity matters too. Upgrade from the 3-potato Bucket to the 8-potato Vacuum, then consider the 20-potato Golden Vacuum from the street shop.

Phase 3: Survive every 8 p.m.

Anomalies begin at night. Keep selling, but switch into response mode when a warning appears.

Anomaly Counter
Window Anomaly Shut the window or use the Fries Shooter.
RUN INSIDE! Return to the kitchen and keep away from doors.
Potato-eating Monster Hold interact until it leaves.
THE GIANT! Avoid marked circles and time outdoor work between casts.
Power Out Wire the lit power box.
Stuck Robot Helper Interact with the robot.

Multiple events can overlap, and later nights tend to add more ghosts. Solo play is demanding because you are simultaneously cooking, defending, and key hunting; a teammate can watch one side of the run while the other keeps the loop alive.

Phase 4: Use the street shop carefully

When the street shop opens, it may offer varying rarity items. The Flamethrower burns potato piles, converting burned potatoes into cash and helping the hidden key appear faster. Money Potion costs $13,000 and multiplies cash by 1.5x, so drink it before burning if you want the payout boost to apply.

Never rush the crossing. Traffic is lethal, and a car hit ends the run.

Phase 5: Find the key and finish

Continue the sale loop while digging through the potato pile whenever production gives you a moment. The key can take a long search, but burning the pile can speed it up.

When the key appears:

  1. Pick it up, whether you dug it out or received it at the window.
  2. Follow the marker to the padlocked basement hatch.
  3. Unlock the hatch.
  4. Jump in.

That basement drop is the documented finish line. If a later game update changes the objective, treat this route as version-specific and recheck the official Roblox listing before relying on it.
